Mr P, Ashburton

Scot Baston

I first became aware of Start Point Law following contact with the Alzheimer’s Society, who were assisting me to deal with a complex family situation. Initially I was intrigued by their business ethics and clearly commendable sense of social responsibility, where they were prepared to travel to towns in the local area to offer free legal clinics on a regular basis. On meeting them at one such clinic, I was impressed from the start by the apparent ease with which they grasped the intricacies of what for me was an incredibly difficult time. I was trying to cope with a situation where I was dealing with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis for both of my parents, and also the management of care for my profoundly disabled brother. I found their collaborative and supportive approach to my situation a truly refreshing change, as was the way that a clear and understandable plan was explained to me, a plan which would legally protect the best interests of all involved. All of this was delivered in the relaxed yet professional way that can only come from subject knowledge underpinned by years of experience. For me the solution was to prepare multiple Powers of Attorney to empower me to assist in the management of the affairs of my relatives. Once again Start Point Law proved they were willing to go the extra mile for their clients, literally, by visiting my family in their own homes to facilitate the process in the least stressful and disruptive environment possible. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the services of Start Point Law to anyone, and on behalf of myself and my family, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to them.
